A silly, little plugin that tells you the number of the newest build available.
Adds an action to the Tools-Menu.
- Removed an else that was preventing the version from being retrieved because of a new topic at the top of the EAP announcements forum.
- Major restructuring... this should really be a new major version. The plugin should now handle both Aurora and Ariadna builds.
- Now using regular expressions to parse out the build number from a website.
- The number is taken from the EAP Announce forum instead of the download page because the download page requires a login.
- The actual plugin JAR to install is in the ZIP.
- This version has been tested with build 833 and 856 on Linux. As I said, it should also work on Ariadna but that has not been tested... it would be fun if someone could try that out.
- Using build 648 getBuildNumber and supressed error dialog if invoked automatically and IOException thrown (typical for laptops put in sleep). The actual plugin JAR to install is in the ZIP.
- The new-build-available message is shown only one time.
- Now checks the version automatically every 30 minutes. (Will only notify on error or new version)
- Works with Build 642
- Reads the file "build.txt" and compares the build numbers (still beta)
- Ready for Build 635
