SaltAndPepper

Purpose

This plugin was created to ease the addition of blanket debug statements.

Description

Places debug statements on every other line on some selected code, and removes them.

Using

Configuration through project properties. Can be run from code menu or from editor popup menu if some code is selected.

Current Features

  • Configurable enclosing comments
  • Recognises if a variable set on previous line and prints accordingly
  • Configurable messages
  • Configurable debug command

Plugins installation

  • Download the binary ZIP file (see below)
  • Unzip SaltAndPepper-bin.zip in your IntelliJ/plugins directory.
  • See also "Jar Dependencies" section in Plugin Info
  • Restart IntelliJ
