It would be interesting if IntelliJ itself could understand the syntax of aspects in Java code and even more interesting if the AspectJ viewer were somehow integrated. I feel it is so important that I will start working on something in January. We are looking at starting out a new phase of a project using AspectJ. The team will switch from IntelliJ 2.6 to IntelliJ 3.0 starting at the beginning of January. If somebody is already working on a plug-in, please let me know by email (mecoru@monsantoNOSPAM321.com).
